Wendy Sinclair

Registered in 1979, Wendy is a nurse with many years' experience as well as a Master’s Degree in Nursing Practise. She has held a number of management, education and clinical roles throughout her nursing career. Most recently she was a Clinical Nurse Specialist in the emergency department of a tertiary hospital – a senior position she held for 15 years. Two years ago Wendy added further depth to her practice gaining her nurse prescribing qualification. This mother of two (and nan to her first mokopuna) says that nursing gives her great professional and personal satisfaction and it’s her great privilege to guide and support people with acute health issues. In Emergency Consult, Wendy has found a supportive team who share her vision, patient focus and commitment to quality care. Wendy lives on a small rural block with her husband where she takes solace in the lovely bush environment. Her interests outside of work include travel and boating.
