Jeus Joaquin

Jeus begun his nursing career in the Philippines where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Trinity University of Asia. In Manila, he gained experience in a hospital emergency room before moving to San Juan City where he continued nursing (and gained Charge Nurse experience) in the surgical ward. In 2012, Jeus relocated to the United Arab Emirates, where he worked in various hospitals as a Registered Nurse assigned to different areas of emergency department. In 2019, Jeus came to Aotearoa. He completed the Competency Assessment Programme from Wesley Institute of Learning Hawke’s Bay and gained his NZ Nursing Council license - and commenced work in Thames emergency department. After a few years in Thames, Jeus moved to Hamilton where he continues to work for the Waikato District Health Board as well as remotely for Emergency Consult. Jeus also holds a license to work in the US and is currently pursuing a post-graduate degree in nursing.
