Dr Satra Browne

Dr Browne completed her undergraduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, then went on to earn her medical degree in New York at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She migrated to Aotearoa in 2011 and settled in Auckland. She has served as an Emergency Specialist throughout the U.S. and Aotearoa, including over a decade at Waitematā DHB. Dr. Browne is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine and board certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Her interests include equity and anti-racism in healthcare, in-situ simulation, and disaster medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their young kids in nature.
