Dr Mai Nguyen

Dr Nguyen’s medical career has taken her around the world. She has been published numerous times and has presented in Kuala Lumpur, South Africa, India, Turkey, Vietnam, Puerto Rico and Ecuador. Dr Nguyen completed her medical training in the United States. She attended med school in California before specialising in emergency medicine in New York. She worked as an Attending Physician in Florida for a number of years before moving to New Zealand in 2012 and taking up position as an SMO in Wellington Regional Hospital. In 2014 she become a Fellow of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM). In addition to her expertise in emergency medicine, Dr Nguyen is a Crossfit coach and has an interest in anti-ageing medicine. She is fluent in Vietnamese and enjoys the arts, travelling, diving, golf, skiing and cooking.
