Dr Leslie Crebassa

Dr Crebassa grew up in the United States, where she gained her medical doctorate and became fully certified in Emergency Medicine before moving to New Zealand. Within a year of arriving here in 2018, Dr Crebassa also became a Fellow of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (FACEM). Since immigrating, she has worked in various hospitals in the central North Island as well as further South. In addition to her clinical work in the hospital ED, Dr Crebassa also takes an interest in departmental processes and efficiencies. Before channeling her focus into emergency medicine, Dr Crebassa gained a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Berkeley (University of California). Outside of medicine Dr Crebassa likes to ski and climb. She also enjoys reading and live shows - and is fond of science fiction.
