Debbie Hawkins

Debbie has been a Registered Nurse for more than 20 years. She trained in Hamilton, then worked at the Royal Perth Hospital in Western Australia for three years, before returning to New Zealand. Debbie has worked across various wards; Oncology, Renal, Cardiac, General Surgical, General Medical, Paediatrics and Emergency. She soon developed a particular interest in emergency and trauma nursing and has worked in Waikato Hospital’s Emergency Department for the past 15 years. Outside of work Debbie enjoys mountain biking and being in the outdoors with her family.
