Dr David Benchetrit

Dr David Benchetrit trained in Marseille, France, and spent more than a decade working across several French hospitals before embarking on an OE in Aotearoa. In New Zealand he worked with Waitematā DHB and Middlemore Hospital, and volunteered with HEMS/Westpac Rescue Helicopter. His international experience also includes time in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Iceland. Dr Benchetrit has a special interest in pre-hospital and retrieval medicine. Outside of work, he enjoys kitesurfing and tramping.
